Spiderman VS Tommyinit ( MCU VS DreamSMP )

Two extroverted emotional teenage protagonists who were once careless & hot-headed kids -who through a journey full of loss and growth - learnt the power of their actions and became more responsible and sensible heroes. 

Early in their journeys, they were both recruited and mentored by an older wiser guardian figure. (Tony Stark & Wilbur Soot) Due to the guardian figure's deteriorating mental state, both are inadvertently dragged into a war. (Civil War & all the L'manberg wars) 

Ultimately, their guardian figures sacrificed themselves and gave their lives to protect those that they love. This ultimately resulted in them becoming lost in grief and looking for a purpose. 

Due to impulsive selfish decisions, both of them lost people who were close to them. (Aunt May & Ghostbur ) At the end of their journeys, both have become wiser individuals with a heart for others. They both also had amnesia endings. (All of the world forgetting Peter Parker & All of the Dream SMP forgetting the events of the Dream SMP)

Both have their own trio with the bubbly best friend and sarcastic newcomer introvert. (Ned and MJ & Tubbo and Ranboo ) Both are also played by British boys called Tom ( Tom Holland & Tom Simons )

Spiderman VS Tommyinit 

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our first MCYT match up this year….and the only MCYT match up this year. 

There is no time to waste. Without further ado, let's get started!

Ground Rules: 

Due to the inconsistency of Tommy's gear, we'll be giving Tommy his set of gear from when he fought Dream in the DreamSMP Finale. 

Both sides will also be given their full arsenals. Items such as water buckets, golden apples, potions, and more will be accessible to Tommy. Meanwhile, all of Peter's suits, such as the Integrated suit and the Iron Spider, will all be in Peter 1's access.  

No outside help will be given. They will be in character. They will be given their high-end feats in line with what makes sense for their character.

Tommy has 1 canon life, so he only needs to die once in order for it to count as a loss. 

Strength & Durability:

Tommyinit:

Tommy is quite simple, so let's start with him first. 

Everybody in the Dream SMP scales to one another given that, well, they are all minecraft characters with the same statistics. 

These are usually dictated by other factors such as armour, gear, skill, etcetera. In the lore, Tommy is about average in terms of all these factors, and at his best, he can even temporarily fight against top tiers such as Dream & Technoblade. 

However, he has consistently shown to be at least a tier or two behind characters like Dream.

Spiderman: 

Spidermen -in both the comics & the MCU- are always in this weird limbo state where they are in the middle of the higher tier and lower tier of Marvel. (When discussing power). 

Spiderman has grown well above his allies in the street tier category. Peter, in his first appearance, overpowered both Bucky & Falcon at the same time - already celementing his placement above even the strongest Super soldiers. 

Again seen in Avengers Infinity War , where he took a hit from Thanos and walked it off. Similar hits from Thanos have one-shotted both Black Panther and Captain America, who are basically the pinnacle of street tier combatants. 

From there, he staggered Giantman. He has fought against Electro amped by an arc reactor and against Doctor Strange in the mirror dimension. He has even accomplished things such as staggering Thanos and scaling to Black Dwarf even after Black Dwarf beat Ironman. 

Both in Avengers Infinity War & Endgame, Black Dwarf could fight toe to toe with heavy hitters like Nanotech Ironman & Hulkbuster Mark II. These armours have consistently fought against high tier characters like Thanos and Hulk, respectively. Hulk-Buster, after all.  

Saying Spiderman is on the level of Thor and Hulk is obviously an overestimation, but it does go to show how much potential this kid from Queens has to offer. 

With that being said, let's get into it. 

Statistics:

Spiderman's highest direct feat is from Green Goblin's Pumpkin bombs, which comes to about 0.083 tons of TnT.

Spiderman off scaling to America Chavez can output a power of 391 tons of TnT, when America Chavez moved some clouds. 

Those, however, pale in comparison to the Dream SMP's destruction of Lmanberg, requiring 11.5 stacks of TnT. This comes out to a power output of 2.6 Kilotons of TnT or about 6 times America Chavez's punch. 

(Each Block of TnT equals 3.53 tons of TnT ) 

Not to mention that they later survived the Doomsday War, which did significantly more damage to L'manberg than the Pogtopia VS Manberg War. 

America Chavez's punch is about the highest you can reasonably scale MCU's Street tier; But what if we scale Spiderman higher? 

Peter being on the same level as Hulk & Thor is borderlining on cursed departments. Instead, let's scale him to Ironman. 

Some of Ironman's weakest armours can output energy blasts of 200 Petawatts. Spiderman has taken attacks from Electro with an arc reactor, so it isn't a big jump to say he can reasonably scale here. 

The strongest Ironman armour that Peter can scale to has to be the Mark 43 - his age of ultron suit - which helped destroy Sokovia. 

(As per covered last time, 1.63 × 10¹¹ tons of TnT)

Meanwhile, Technoblade was stated able to destroy bedrock; about an area of 28 blocks. 

"You went on a rampage and literally ripped apart this mountain this one time." 

- Philza to Technoblade. 

Accounting for the density of bedrock , this can reach all the way to 107 Petatons of TnT. 

(1,000,000,000 times stronger) 

Regardless of scaling to street tiers or high tiers, Tommyinit has the raw power advantage.

Speed:

Speed is actually pretty simple. 

Both of them have been able to react to Lightning. 

Both of them have (admittedly shaky) scaling to light speed.

They are both roughly the same level of speed. 

Skill & Experience:

Peter and Tom are around the same age, both being about 16-19 years old depending on the time period. 

Tommy is very experienced, if all the wars he took part in aren't clear enough. 

In terms of raw skill, he has been on par with the rest of the server and, at his best, can take on top-tier players such as Technoblade, Dream, and Sapnap. 

Though, consistently ,Tommy is still below them.

Peter is also in a similar category. He has kept up with skilled heroes such as Tobey Maguire's Spiderman, one of the older heroes in the MCU. 

But he hasn't shown anything comparable to experts such as Captain America, especially when comparing things such as their performance against the outriders. 

Intellect & Stamina:

Don't get me wrong , Tommy is smart. 

But Peter is a fictional genius, his raw intellect impressive that of super geniuses like Ironman, Mysterio ,Norman Osborn, and Doctor Octopus.

He has come up with plans to defeat both Giantman and Ebony Maw. 

While Tommy is smart, he has not shown anything on that level. 

Tommy, however, has a lot more stamina , given that he doesn't really have a limit to his stamina as a minecraft player and can simply restore stamina by eating food. 

Peter has a high stamina. He is able to fight against the villains from other worlds even with broken ribs.

He has done this quite consistently, but it is still inferior to Tommy's near endless stamina. 

Abilities & Counters:

Both of them have armour to enhance their durability. 

(Given that these are already factored into the Strength & Durability section, it is unlikely they will change the result.)

Given minecraft's wide array of gear that Tommy has access to, Tommy is not short of armoury in this fight. He has his melee weapons, like swords, axes, and shields. 

He even has a special axe called the axe of peace. 

He has long-range equipment in crossbows & bows and trident that he can throw. 

He has blocks he can use to tower up and buckets of water and lava. 

He has ender pearls he can use to teleport around with and a trident he can glide in as long as he is exposed to water. 

His potions, depending on the effect, can either help increase his own stats or decrease his opponent's stats. 

His gapples allow him to heal back up quickly, with the enchanted god apple even making the player more durable and immune to fire. 

Spiderman, too, has a large selection of gear. He has webbing that can be used to swing around;tough enough to incapacitate Captain America. 

In his stark tech suit, he has over 556 combinations of webbing, including ricochet webs, web grenades, and rapid fire webs. 

His other suits also provide other additional benefits to Peter. His "Nightmonkey" suit can help with stealth, while his Iron Spider has extra arms that can be used for attacking. 

His suits from Tony also have "instant kill mode," which well….does as it says. 

He has had 2 artificial intelligence as his companions, Karen from the Stark Tech Suit and E.D.I.T.H from Stark's glasses. 

His spider sense will be a game changer. This instinct of his allows him to have a degree of precognition, allowing him to dodge attacks long before they arrive. He can even sense bad intentions, such as from Green Goblin. 

Counters: 

Spiderman is a lot more mobile than Tommy is, with a lot more vertical movement in comparison to Tommy's relatively melee arsenal. 

With Peter's spider sense, Tom is going to have a hard time getting good hits on Peter, both melee and long-range. Combine that with "instant kill" and Peter's AIs, and it's going to be tough for Tommy to land a hit. 

Tommy's ender pearls and trident can potentially close the distance, although Peter can just redirect the Ender Pearl and dodge the trident. 

With Spiderman's webbing, he can also attempt to disarm and incapacitate. Though with Tommy's strength and minecraft sword's ability to cut through webs, it is likely Tommy can escape. 

Tommy's gapples and healing make it almost impossible for Peter to do any meaningful damage to Tommy. And with a power advantage of over a billion times, Tommy really only needs one hit. 

Final Verdict: 

Spiderman:

  +Intellect

  =Skill

  =Speed

  =Abilities

  =Counters 

Tommyinit:

  +Strength 

  +Stamina

  =Skill 

  =Speed

  =Abilities

Spiderman is powerful - Peter certainly has the skill and experience to sneak in a win - but he does not really have a reliable way to get around Tommyinit's higher stats. 

With Tommy's major strength advantage, comparable speed, and versatility, the best thing Peter can do is just stall for time until he gets an opening that might never come. 

Tommy is just too strong. With that being said…..

Final comments: 

After my Mid Year special, this blog is a bit shorter compared to all my other blogs this year. (To be fair, it is still 60 images) This blog is coming out a few hours late, mainly because I've been working on this section for so long. 

Exactly one year ago, "So long nerds" was released to the world, revealing that Technoblade…..is dead. 

It's been a strange year since. There have been ups and downs, and that weird limbo in between. 

My loved ones have grown and achieved things in the past year that I have never envisioned before. My surroundings have changed and went to new worlds I have never dreamt of. 

And I have changed as well.  

But the impact he has had on me - all the good times, the laughs, the lessons - that will never change. 

So if you can, go back and watch some of his videos. Indulge in a bit of nostalgia or ,if you're new, give it a try. 

I promise it'll be worth it.
