Welcome back everyone to my biggest project of the year so far !

My mid year project that I have been hyping up. 

I picked this date because it was in between Technoblade's and Dream's Birthday. 

And let's not forget....

Happy Birthday Karl !

Rest well Technoblade.

It's time for my first 4 versus 4. 

The Sleepy Bois Inc VS The Muffinteers 

This is going to be a big one.

Group of 4 minecraft youtuber friends ( Technoblade , Philza , Tommy and Wilbur , Dream , George , Sapnap and Badboyhalo ) who created the group for fun. Unlike many group channels , neither group has their own dedicated YouTube channel. Both groups have also won the Minecraft Championships.

• Technoblade and Dream 

-Rivals to one another reknown for their extremely pronounced pvp capabilities. Leaders of their group with the highest subscriber count. Both have pets ( Patches and Floof ) , both have ADHD , both have also done extremely similar things. Both have shown support for one another ( Despite the controversy at the time ) , both called for each other name when dying , both have done the Ladder MLG ,Firework massacre ,Destroyed Tommyinit's prime log, release several songs , gave the same opinion on bad fans , Done the Buildmart Strategy, Wheeze and make explained videos. Both also blew up from primarily one form of content ( Skywars and Minecraft Manhunt )

• Wilbursoot and Georgenotfound 

The "best" friend of the most popular in the group ( Dream and Technoblade) and typically serve as the "Pretty boy troll" of the group. 

• Tommyinit and Sapnap 

Both are chaotic troublemakers both causing disruptions in the Dream Smp by causing fires and mayhem. Despite this both are generally known for being down to earth and tend to stick to the same friend group.

• Philza and Badboyhalo 

-The long term veterans of the group , having done minecraft professionally for a long time and is typically looked up to as being the oldest in the group. 

Let's get started :

So here we have the largest versus battle I've done so far , with 8 combatants instead of 2 or even my largest previous 6. Luckily , everyone from the Sleepy Bois Inc and the Muffinteers are all minecrafters. 

And to make it fair , just to remove any potential unfair advantages, I'll be giving all of them the same gear.

Meaning that in terms of statistics , things like strength , speed , gear , etcetera , will be non-factors in the fight since everyone is the same !

Meaning that there are only 3 or so statistics that matter and thus I only need to compare them. 

Skill , Experience and Intelligence. 

So this is how I'll lay out the format. 

I'll be doing:

•4 1v1's

•Overall teamwork and strategy

•Overall statistics and winner.

Without further ado , let's start with....

Dream VS Technoblade. 

This fight is not only legendary in minecraft , but legendary in gaming as one of the strongest rivalships/Friendships in gaming history. And that's for a reason. 

These 2 are extremely skilled and extremely experienced to the point it seems fake. 

Let's start with the easier one first. 

Who is more experienced?

Dream started playing minecraft roughly around 2014 whilst Technoblade started roughly around 2013 , making Technoblade roughly around 11.1% more experienced than Dream.

Slightly more experienced , but shouldn't matter in the long run. 

What is more important....is skill. 

Who is more skilled? 

Let's start with Dream. 

What's most scary about Dream is his adaptability and his growth. 

Dream has went from losing a 1v1 with his advantage to being able to consistently outwit in 1v3s. 

He has stated to be confident fighting on a 1v2 against any of the 2 hunters , (while saying he couldn't before , thus showing his growth ) . Even the weaker links in terms of skill , like Georgenotfound , is a long time veteran of the game and is capable of consistently keeping up with experts such as Sapnap and Badboyhalo , which Ill get to later. Dream is so intimating that Badboyhalo was scared of even stalling him.

He has won 134 1v1s against 25 minecraft youtubers , including experts like Sapnap and Fruitberries , and only lost twice to Fruitberries. 

Later he defeated Captain Sparklez 6-3 on a 1v1 without armour when Captain Sparklez had full diamond and later defeated Skeppy in their training 1v1 and a 5-0 Victory again against Captain Sparklez for MCC 10.

So yeah. Extremely skilled.

How about Techno? 

Well he has won 4 Minecraft Mondays , and 2 Minecraft Championships ( Ironically one is with dream. ) 

In 1 run he set 4 new records for Minecraft Ultimate :

#1 Individual Player

#1 Individual Team 

New Individual Kill record ( 47 )

New Team Kill Record ( 116 )

He was the first to get a 1000 winstreak in bedwars , in which he has a 149:1 Win to Loss Ratio with over 5000 wins and briefly achieved a leaderboard position for most final kills. He has the #1 Skywars Win : Loss Ratio at over 4900 wins. 

He has his fair share of 1v1 victories too , such as against Tommy . Skeppy admitted that Technoblade was somehow always better than him , he has beaten Tapl, he has won a 4v1 against the Butcher Army ( Ranboo , Tubbo, Quackity and Fundy ), he took on the entirety of the dream Smp, and not to forget , won his 1 v 1 against dream. 

Intellect?

Dream has on several occasions outwitted all of the manhunters , majority if not all of them being long time veterans. He has used the buildmart strategy ( which techno also used ) and most agree that he is already extremely intelligent ( Not to mention all his among us victories and manipulation )

Techno too is knowledgeable. Extrsmely knowledgeable ,having knowledge of war techniques from "Sun Tzu : The Art of war" and general history which allowed him to outsmart Dream (By hiding behind a pillar) and Squid Kid. 

The potato war is an excellent example to demonstrate Technoblade's intellect. He found out Squidkid's sleep schedule, college, alternative accounts , farm efficiency and others just because he wanted to. He has consistently manipulated others , i.e. Squid kid by using his upload schedule and alternative accounts .

Dream VS Technoblade: Overall.

Who wins here? Well , the statistics shows that it could come down to a 50/50 . Both Dream and Techno have admitted that who wins really just depends on who was having the lucky day. Both have done extremely similar things , both have been called the "best minecraft player" by dozens of different news outlets and people. Both kind of cancel out. 

And that's something that I really like able this match up , is that in the grand scheme of things, somethings cancel out. Leaving it to the other members to decide who wins. 

Conclusion: Tie

Next up :

Badboyhalo versus Ph1Lza Minecraft 

From here it is now easier since we can scale their performances off Technoblade and Dream. 

I.e. If George can consistently 1v1 Dream while Wilbur cannot consistently 1v1 Technoblade or people of that level , Goerge Skill > Wilbur Skill.

They are both roughly around the same intelligence, being long time veterans and occasionally shown to have even more general knowledge about the game than even tryhards like Dream and Techno. Based on Philza's past, he is also extremely cautious and plans ahead .

Whilst Phil is older by 7 years , they have both done minecraft for roughly the same amount of time. 

For skill, it's a toss up. Phil is not a direct pvper , but when pushed he can pvp , getring high scores in MCC and Minecraft Monday , example when he paired with Techno for Minecraft Monday and got second in overall score and has regarded as a top tier competitor in MCC , even as of current. 

But you could say the same about Badboyhalo. In the same Minecraft Monday where Technoblade and Philza teamed , when accused of his team being unfair , Technoblade pointed to Badboyhalo and Skeppy being more unfair. Bad has also defeated Dream twice in minecraft manhunt , and almost successfully got away from 4 hunters despite having 0 previous experience. 

Conclusion : Tie ( Leaning to Badboyhalo)

 

 

George VS Wilbur :

I would say these 2 , and maybe Tommy , are kind of the weaker links in these 2 ridiculously overpowered chains. Not to throw shade , these guys are still above average and have outperformed several highly ranked minecraft players on several occasions, but compared to powerhouses like Dream and Technoblade they don't come off as the most impressive thing here. 

Wilbur has been playing for a long time, maybe even longer than George, seeing the earliest instance I can find of Wilbur playing minecraft is all the way back in 2011 while the earliest I can track Georgenotfound's history back to is 2013 with the beginning of his channel.

For intellect , obviously they are intelligent and have shown instances of wit and smarts. However, they typically don't use it for Player versus Player combat too much , they typically like to just do their own thing. Although when needed , they have assisted in planning alongside the main leaders , Dream/ Techno respectively. 

For skill , Wilbur has impressed Technoblade on several occasions, notably in MCC Pride where he got a quadruple kill. George is impressive too , consistently applying pressure on Dream and keeping up with Sapnap and Badboyhalo. For coin average in MCC , George typically gets around 2240 while Wilbur got 1916. 

On their best day, I would say they are roughly comparable.

Conclusion : Tie ( Debatable)

Finally :

Sapnap VS Tommyinit.

Everything has been reasonably close so far.

The match to turn the tide. 

Experience: 

Sapnap is obviously more experienced , being 3 years older and having played minecraft for roughly 3 years longer. 

Intellect :

Both have on occasion outplayed Technoblade and Dream and they both are intelligent, just they typically like to relax and have fun instead of overthinkjng. Both have formulated plans to trap Dream and Techno respectively , but it isnt their go-to choice, they typically rely more on skill. Like George and Wilbur, they tend to have fun more times than not.  

Skill:

This one is easy. Tom Simons is good , don't mistaken me. He has on lucky occasions: defeated Dream in 1v1 combat before , outsmarted Technoblade, and has generally shown to be an above average player via defeating top tier pvpers. 

However Sapnap is just on a different level. He has consistently fought against Technoblade , He has defeated Skeppy , Badboyhalo, Georgenotfound, etc. Most impressively, he has consistently put pressure and fight equally against Dream.

Dream has trained against Sapnap several times for events such as the Technoblade Duel and MCC. Sapnap is also put on high regard by Dream, putting him as one of the most dangerous players in MCC , alongside Punz. He has also gotten an average coin score of 3040 whilst Tommy has gotten 2473 ( Tommy doesn't always play competitively so there is a grain of salt , however Sapnap's average is actually higher than Dream's average of 3014, so it's worth noting. )

Sapnap is just more skilled in PvP combat and is generally just more focused in battle. 

Conclusion : Sapnap 

Overall : 

Laying out the 4 matches gives us a great indication of how they'll fair , taking a look :

Dream ≈ Technoblade 

Georgenotfound ≈ Wilbursoot

Sapnap > Tommyinit 

Badboyhalo ≈ Philza 

So in the overall , Sapnap should be able to pull off the win for the Muffinteers against Tommy, since everything else the Sleepy Bois Inc bring to the table is cancelled out by what the other Muffinteers bring as well. 

Especially considering team experience, where the Muffinteers had several years of experience all with one another , with roughly around 7 years of experience since the shut-down of MCPvP back in 2015. Sapnap and Dream also first met around 11 years ago when Sapnap was 10. 

Meanwhile Technoblade only really met Philza in 2019 through Mincraft Monday and meeting Wilbur again later that year in Minecraft Monday. He also finally meets Tommy at the end of 2019 through SMP earth. 

The Muffinteers also have better teamwork, more often working together professionally ( I.e. Coding and Developing Servers ) while the sleepy bois inc are more of a chaotic friend group. 

So....

Who wins:

The sleepy bois inc is a staggeringly underrated group in terms of skill , strategy and performance. I can see them taking a solid 30 to 40% of the victories here , especially since PvP abilities ( Like most abilities ) aren't always 100% consistent and people can have low showings and high showings. 

But the Muffinteers has this covered. Dream's and Sapnap's skill are almost unchallenged here , with only Technoblade being the only one who has consistently maintain with their pvp potential. With George and Badboyhalo on their side , it's kind of hard to see the Sleep Boi's inc reliably winning. You can even agrue Badboyhalo to be on the same level as people like Sapnap if you wanted to.

Tommy has fought Dream on a few occasions. Impressive , but every member of the Muffinteers has done that too and done it better. Tommy might not be able to win his fight against the "weaker" members of the Muffinteers, and that's if you can even call them weak. Wilbur is in a similar boat as Tommy , being a powerful member of the sleepy bois but still one of the weaker players in this battle. Philza is in a very unique place where he is inconsistent. He is held up by his overwhelming experience and he is skilled no doubt , but he is better as a team player. 

He has shown high scores , however in 1v1 pvp combat , he hasn't faired as well compared to people like Sapnap and Dream. 

Another thing to note is their improvement rate. Dream went from not being confident in doing a 1v1 to being confident in doing a 1v5. Most of the hunters have improved as well , all growing from average players to top tier players in the span of 2 years. Their development rate is unreal even comparing to the development rate of Technoblade. 

If you recall the tier list I made all the way back in " The (Muffin) Trio VS The Dream Team " , there was a tier list. Forming the list now , here would be the list. 

Tier 1: 

Dream , Technoblade 

Tier 2:

Sapnap , Badboyhalo 

Tier 3:

Badboyhalo (+) , Philza , George , Tommy , Wilbur

Tier 4:

Tommy (+) , Wilbur (+)

Tier 5:

Where Tier 4/5 is generally considered average level for a minecraft player. 

In the end , I see the statistics playing out to the Muffinteers favor eventually. It'll be close , as I said people aren't always consistent and SBI themselves are extremely well-balanced and powerful. 

The Muffinteers take the overall skill and team experience and I think they have got this in the bag. They just have too many powerhouses. 

Winner : The Muffinteers 

So over half a year has passed, and wow. 

Goodness.

What a ride it has been. 

From great heights to the depressing lows , 2022 sure has been a crazy year hasn't it. 

I'm really happy with how this has turned out , I've been wanting to do this project for over a year now , even before I started my blog , and I think it turned out great. This isn't my final MCYT VS of the year , I still have a few more planned out for not only this year but the next year as well, so Im excited to start working on them. 

Writing and researching for MCYT characters is always such a blast and I get to learn new things about them as they grow into the future.
