Stitch VS Rocket Raccoon ( Lilo & Stitch VS Marvel Comics )
“ That’s what people do who love you. They put their arms around you and love you when you’re not so lovable. ” — Deb Calentti
#Technoblade25
Two chaotic, destructive, and aggressive furry, animalistic creatures who softened and became forces of good when, under the influence of a found friend ( Lilo & Groot ), found a family ( The Pelekai Family & The Guardians of the Galaxy ). Their races were both genetically-engineered by aliens ( Genetic Experiments & Halfworlders, by the Jumba Jookiba and the robots on Halfworld respectively) for different purposes ( Stitch was designed to be a destroyer of worlds, whilst Rocket was meant to be a caretaker ).
I had over 2 months to write this, and I still somehow procrastinated. Rocket Raccoon VS Stitch is a blog I have been wanting to write for quite a while, and I never quite realized what I was getting into. For Rocket, I knew he had a lot of material, but I didn’t know Lilo & Stitch had 4 entire several-season TV Shows.
Nevertheless, Happy Pride Month! —and I hope you enjoy the blog.
Fanart:
Ground Rules:
No outside help; The Guardians of the Galaxy for Rocket, and all of the other experiments and Lilo herself for Stitch, will not be included.
No outside non-standard gear.
They will be in character. They will be given their high end feats in line with what makes sense for their character.
They will be given only canon material.
Stitch will be given the main movies,TV shows and games for Stitch. That includes the main 4 Lilo & Stitch movies, all the shorts and games, the 2 seasons of Lilo & Stitch, the Stitch! anime, and the 2 mangas. Outside material such as Kingdom hearts will not be used.
Rocket Raccoon will be given his iteration from mainline 616 continuity, the main marvel universe. Outside materials such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe will not be used.
Rocket Raccoon:
Rocket wept, his burning eyes forced to stare up at bright overhead lights as scalpels tore apart at his skin. Do you remember your first memory? Rocket does. It was the worst day of his life.
On the planet Halfworld, Rocket was originally a raccoon–like therapy pet for Halfworld's asylum for the mentally ill. He formed bonds with the inmates and found comfort in his purpose.
Things went south when the Halfworld scientists abandoned the planet, opting to leave behind Artificial Intelligence Robots to care for the planet. The Robots took care of the planet, however they deemed themselves insufficient. Their lack of sentience left them ineffective, and thus they needed something as good as the scientists before them. They turned to the animals.
From then on, Rocket was no longer Rocket, he became Subject 89P13. The robots tortured him, experimented on him by altering his DNA and implementing cybernetic enhancements. In went an innocent animal, and out came out an intelligent and capable monstrosity.
Luckily, there are friends in low places. He made friends with another genetic experiment; a walrus-like creature named….Wal Russ….cheeky. Together, they liberated their home and served as its protectors, and he was happy for a time.
He was never truly happy. Halfworld was no longer home to him for he had nowhere to return to. He was purposeless, an abomination given sentience. Rocket did what Rocket does best. He made a space shuttle, and fled to the cosmos.
Through his adventures, Rocket became a mercenary and a bounty hunter as he followed the path of crime. Which eventually culminated in him in a jail cell. One day, he stumbled across a certain tree-like being who spoke only 3 words.
Rocket and Groot quickly became friends, just in time as the galaxy was being attacked. Peter Quill, the Starlord, was looking for a team, with Rocket & Groot being caught in the crossfire out of necessity. Slowly though, journey after journey, the Guardians of the Galaxy became friends. And after dozens of adventures, they became family.
Eventually, Rocket Raccoon softened up. He fought alongside his new teammates, leading them to battle and sharing the pain of his creation with them. He had discovered a new home.
Perhaps that was his purpose: to protect his family.
Stitch:
A long-time ago, in a galaxy far far away ( Wrong Intro ) One day, in a system far beyond our own, a crazy evil scientistTM was brought on trial under illegal experimentation. Jumba Jookiba, the lead scientist of the Galaxy Defense Industries, was also responsible for the creation of 626 genetic experiments. He was placed on trial for his most recent experiment: a cruel force of destruction terrorizing any world in their path. Its name was Experiment 626.
Experiment 626 was held in a prison to be readied for trial. Needless to say, Experiment 626 broke out and escaped easily, scrambling off to hide on a remote planet — which happened to be Earth. He proceeds to immediately get run over by a truck.
Mistaken as a dog ( somehow? ) and taken to an animal shelter, Experiment 626 would end up being adopted by a little girl named Lilo and was given the name, Stitch. Originally, Stitch intended to use Lilo as a hostage to ward the United Galactic Federation off his tail. However, with nothing around to destroy, Stitch was left purposely, doomed to spend his life with Lilo and Nani.
Over time though, Stitch began to realize that he and Lilo were one and the same; misunderstood outcasts, longing for connection. With that in mind, the two grew a special bond with one another, and alongside Lilo’s older sister Nani, they became a family. Under the Pelekai family, Stitch began his journey to stop, capture and rehabilitate all of his cousins, and give them a place to belong.
Regardless of occasion, time or place, Stitch will be living his life with his family by his side. After all, no one leaves family behind.
Scaling :
Rocket Raccoon :
Rocket Raccoon is one of those prime characters in a weird limbo state between the Street tier of Marvel, and the Herald Tier of Marvel — similar to someone like Spiderman or Valkyrie. Let’s run it through from the lower end to the higher end.
Rocket Raccoon has won his brief scuffle with Miles Morales Spiderman, and — in one of his solo runs — got into multiple combative situations with Kraven and on many occasions got the upper hand. Kraven has shown multiple times that he is a worthy opponent for even the strongest of Spidermen. He has kept up with Venom as well. With this, it is reasonably fair to compare Rocket Raccoon to many of the Spidermen, as well as to most other Marvel Street Tiers.
His speed is notably much faster than your standard street tier, being able to tag Super Skrulls and match Sam Alexander’s Nova in speed. His battles alongside the guardians of the galaxy should put Rocket at a comparable level of speed as his colleagues such as Starlord, Gamora, Groot and Drax — at least in terms of reaction speed.
Of course, with his weaponry, Rocket Raccoon is on another level. His genius in creating weapons is his specialty, and he has been shown on numerous occasions to be one of Marvel's best technicians. He even has the audacity to call Ironman’s armor “cute”. His technology is certainly comparable to some of the other smartest heroes in the universe.
]
He easily scales to numerous heralds. He is consistently able to injure herald tier characters, such as the Drax, and Gamora, and even the Incredible Hulk. “Herald Tier” is a term coined by fans, taken in reference to the Heralds of Galactus. Herald Tiers are the cosmic tier characters, who typically operate as the heavy hitters of their universe; see the Hulk or Thor Odinson.
At the peak of their power, Rocket has affected even the Mighty Mad Titan with his guns. In the Guardians of the Galaxy's battle against Thanos, Rocket Raccoon not only damaged Thanos, but also threatened to kill him with a single blast — in which Thanos heeded the warning.
Now, there is some context here. Thanos was weakened from having just been revived, with butt booty bare ass naked right there for the world to see. Yet, it is still Thanos, and this weakened version of Thanos and defeated both Drax and Groot.
Thanos in this state also endured being blasted by a cosmic cube, and leveled an entire planet shortly after coming back to life ( because he is evil ig? ). Thanos is just kind of like that.
Stitch :
Stitch’s scaling is thankfully a lot simpler than Rocket Raccoon. Stitch was able to fight on par with Leroy, who is basically a superior doppelganger of Stitch. Leroy was able to capture all of the experiments in the final movie of Lilo & Stitch.
There too exists multiple statements that Stitch was designed to be the most destructive experiment, and broke a machine that was used to measure power. It stands to reason that Stitch should upscale, or scale to, any feat done by the other experiments in the Lilo & Stitch franchise.
Stitch should also scale above the other human characters in the show. I don’t think I need to explain that one right? Literal kids from recess are able to react to rays of light from Experiment 285, Lax. Those are some fast children.
Power :
It will come to no one's shock to find out that the raw power of Rocket's weaponry far eclipses Stitch's own attack potency. Even his standard guns can shred through characters like Groot and Maxilin the Accuser, who was defeating Gamora.
Gamora routinely fights against Heralds like Angela, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, and her father Thanos. Similarly, Groot has fought with Gladiator and Cosmic Ghost Rider.
( Why…. why does he look like that. )
And of course, his guns have threatened to instantly kill Thanos, or paralyze him at 20% power. It was a naked, weakened Thanos, yet he was still able to fairly defeat the heralds in the Guardians as shown above. He also endured a blast from the Cosmic Cube — the same Cosmic Cube Reed Richards had used to defeat Dr Doom who had absorbed the power of Galactus.
To give perspective to the raw might of Galactus, he is a cosmic being on par with concepts such as Lady Death herself. The X-men struggled to even gain his attention, including the powers of Storm and Magneto. Omega level Mutants such as Magneto, even during this time, were directly compared to Phoenix when she stopped the destruction of the infinite universe.
That far exceeds the power and durability that Stitch offers. Weird to think a random space raccoon just has these weapons lying around,
Although, that is not where the story ends. Things invert when it comes to physical strength, with Stitch having a major advantage against Rocket. To his credit, Rocket Raccoon isn't any slouch in his own right, he has taken shockwaves from an amped Nebula who had enough power to slay celestials.
He has survived a 200 Megaton blast that tore through his spaceship.
Given his relativity to Kraven, a solid high tier Spider-man villain — should at least downscale from casual Spider-men feats, such as: Spider Punk & Ghost Spider releasing energy visible from space or Spiderman 2099 easily defeating Cynerobl who also released a massive blast of light visible from space.
( 48 Teratons of TnT ~ 272 Teratons of TnT )
However, Stitch simply outclasses this by miles. On a regular basis he deals with threats to the planet, and subdues them causally. Experiments 520 and 513, Cannonball and Richer respectively, have threatened and cracked planets. Experiment 254 & 255, Mr Stenchy & Mr Sticky ( Wonderful names ), could cause planetary explosions with their chemicals. Not to mention Stitch himself was birthed from 2 massive planets exploding.
The planetary explosion that birthed Stitch yields 40 Ronnatons of TnT, about 96 Trillion times greater than the greatest feat Rocket scales to.
To give perspective to that, say if Rocket Raccoon was an ant that rammed you at full speed, Stitch would be like Russia's Father of All Bombs — the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in the world — exploding in your face.
That is not the end, with Experiment Holio managing to create black holes that threaten to destroy the universe. In response, Stitch survives a galaxy-destroying warhead while within one of these black holes — which in turn causes the black hole to collapse on him — and then propel him all the way back to earth.
Rocket Raccoon’s weapons still hold a massive power advantage over Stitch – being in the infinites – but Stitch’s strength advantage might as well be infinite when compared to the best Rocket offers.
( They both also got hit by a truck, so ignore everything I have said. They are clearly equal )
Speed :
I thought Speed would be a lot easier to cover than Strength; I was wrong.
Reacting to gunfire, lightning and light-speed projectiles are very routine for both of these characters. For instance, Rocket Raccoon has dodged laser fire at 1.5 times light speed, while Stitch straight up just caught a ball of plasma.
In fact, both of these verses routinely have light-speed reaction speed — with a plethora of Marvel Characters and Lilo & Stitch Characters reacting to light speed attacks, including literal school children from recess. I think lightspeed as a minimum is pretty reasonable. However, above that, everything gets messy.
Thankfully, Stitch's side is pretty clear cut. Stitch was able to stop the Supernova Warhead from destroying the galaxy, as I had mentioned earlier. Considering that the Supernova Warhead had started from outside of the Nebula, that must yield a speed of about 580,000 times light speed.
Experiment 262 “Ace” also traveled from another planet “Xenex-5” to Earth in a day, which would compute about 1500c. The notion that Stitch is thousands to hundreds of thousands times the speed of light is pretty well supported within the universe.
Meanwhile, Rocket Raccoon's side of things is an absolute travesty. For a minimum, Rocket Raccoon directly scales to Otta, who moves in tandem with an explosion operating in the picoseconds, which equates to about 6000 times the speed of light.
From there, characters like Supaidaman ( The Japanese Spiderman ) and Ghost Spider have kept pace with the Leopardon and Symbiote Dragons, each having feats of moving at 120,000c and 1,600,000c respectively.
( Debatable. See FAQs for more information )
Rocket Raccoon has kept pace with Sam Alexander's Nova, who has traveled back to Earth from 80,000 Light Years away in a day, reaching about 29,000,000 Times the speed of light.
From here onwards, Rocket becomes a lot faster than Stitch; such as scaling to Ironman, who in his deep space suit ( the suit Rocket called cute ) could warp to the moon at 1.3 Trillion c.
With Stitch being 580,000c , and Rocket being anywhere from 6000c to several trillion times light speed, it certainly leaves it up to interpretation on whether Rocket Raccoon scales to these speeds. I'll discuss this in more detail in the Frequently Asked Questions.
Abilities & Counters :
Behold, the longest section to research. It is no secret that Stitch and Rocket have large inventories of weapons and abilities to assist them in their battles. Stitch is the only one here with their own superpowers, so I’ll start with him first. Rocket is just a raccoon, as much as he says he isn’t.
Stitch’s experimental physiology grants him exceptional strength and speed, but it also allows him numerous other abilities: His enhanced senses enabled him to locate disguised aliens from miles away from just his scent, and see the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
( *This is an alien in disguise )
His spit is acidic enough to melt through just about anything, and it is conductive enough to short-circuit electronics. His screams are so ear-shattering that they can temporarily immobilize anyone in the vicinity, including birds in the sky, and his sneezes can form strong wind vortexs that can fling cars.
Stitch can engulf his body in intense heat, and light his body on fire, and catch plasma with his bare hands.
Transformations:
Stitch has multiple transformations that he has access to. Some transformations — such as Wish Power Stitch — won't be granted to him as it isn't standard.
Super Stitch is a transformation Stitch achieves after touching Invincibility Lightning. This Giden version of Stitch is stronger and more durable for a short period of time.
Metamorphosis Stitch is his initially planned final state, when the Metamorphosis Program is activated within him turning him into a monster without control. According to Jumba, this version of Stitch is capable of destroying cities, planets, star systems, and even the Galactic Federation.
This form of Stitch is monstrously powerful and has the size to compensate, easily being able to collapse entire bridges simply by walking over them. This form is a double-edged sword however — as he loses all intelligence in this state, and is unable to transform back until the programme is shut off.
Power Surge Stitch is Stitch with the “loving support of his friends” — or just the power of friendshipTM. In this form, Stitch is easily able to ragdoll the DarkEnd, who had been easily handling Stitch and all of his cousins.
Stitch has a varied range of weaponry, his most iconic of which being his 4 Plasma Blaster Pistols.
These blasters can also shoot out laser nets and grappling beams. Speaking of Grappling Guns, in the games he has access to a grappling gun, as well as Homing Missiles, Pineapple Bombs, a Jetpack and a Freeze Gun.
Also Coffee. Regular Coffee. It makes Stitch more hyperactive, increasing his perception speed for a short duration of time.
Stitch has vehicles to travel large distances, such as his Cosmic Scooter. It's a small spaceship which Stitch uses for joyrides, durable enough to endure cosmic storms.
He also owns a cute little Hovercraft.
His “Sizemotronic 2000” allows him to alter the size of objects, allowing Stitch to shrink or expand objects, such as: a sandwich. However, by far his most versatile piece of gear is “Lightning in a can”.
Stitch becomes supercharged with electricity after drinking several cans. He gains new abilities such as an electric aura, the ability to shoot lightning and form EMPs which short-circuited an entire town.
Rocket Raccoon is comparatively lacking in his own abilities. He has his enhanced strength and speed, as well as enhanced senses. He is able to hear hidden cameras in an entirely blank room, and trace people by their scent.
That is pretty much it for Rocket’s own abilities. However, he more than makes up for with his wide array of gear at his disposal. Let us start with his nigh-infinite supply of guns. He has multiple pistols, ranging from his first pistols from his hero days on Halfworld, to some pistols powerful enough to blast off the head of the Collector.
He has numerous firearms, from miniguns to automatic guns. He has guns that can melt off Thano’s face, electrical guns, sonic guns, grapple guns, and the “B-OO-M Meson Beam”.
These guns certainly pack a punch, as they can atomise planets and harm the Hulk.
He also had rocket launchers ( he is Rocket after all ) that were strong enough to injure heavy hitters like Yotat, and a “Melon Popper Gun” that popped the head of a super skrull, a skrull with the powers of the entire Fantastic 4.
Rocket Raccoon also packs what he likes to call “The Number Six Special”. It is an explosive that supplied more power than Adam Warlock and Quasar — 2 Thor level Opponents.
Rocket holds a variety of melee weapons as well, such as the Pest-X & 2XL. 2 big, jet-boosted hammers made by Tony Stark that damaged Alien technology that was taking hits from Hulk & Thor.
He has proven proficient in battling with a pole, knives, and a robotic arm that can defeat the Asgardian Volstagg in an arm wrestling contest. He even owns a really cool looking sword.
Rocket is not limited to guns and melee weapons, he is also a big fan of explosions. He has a multitude of grenades, some of which he used to blow Kraven’s dick off (yes literally) and and blow up moons. However, none are as potent as the Nullifier Bomb. The Nullifier Bomb is the prototype to the Galactus’s Ultimate Nullifier, capable of generating power greater than that of Captain Marvel.
He also has automatic force-fields that surround him and protect him from damage.
Rocket Raccoon is no stranger to building armours. He has built many armours, some of which can burn off Thanos’s face, and one of them is shaped by Galactus. It is a massive fraud though, as it is simply a fear tactic and is largely nonfunctional — though it does have an EMP. The mech falls apart on its own, so it may not be the most reliable machine Rocket has built.
In the case where Rocket needs extra gear, he can call upon his Orbital Stash to summon new gear or his repair drone to fix his gear. They are not made for combat, but they are strong enough to incapacitate Gamora & Drax. Rocket has sometimes shown to have a stash of equipment in orbit from which he can summon new gear
For traveling, Rocket has a jetpack which allows him to fly in combat as shown earlier. He also owns goggles to protect his eyes. Close-fitting headwear that Rocket can wear to protect his eyes.
He owns many transportation vehicles, such as Aircrafts he uses to kill Ego’s lice problem, a transforming space-flying motorcycle, and the Milano which is the spacecraft used by the guardians of the Galaxy.
His “Timely Inc. Shipment Processing and Analysis Device” is a handheld device that helps Rocket with intellectual problems, such as analyzing situations to provide Rocket with expositional analysis. It also has a teleportation function.
For his more out-there gear, he has his Mysterium Cannon. It is an enormous gun spacecraft that can fire out anti-magic bullets made of pure Mysterium ( a unique meta-material forged from the White Hot Room ). A bullet strong enough to shoot through a Dormammu-possessed Ego, the living planet.
This unfortunately is not something Rocket can fire on a wim, since he needed both Star-lord and Nova’s combined power to use it. It isn’t a massive deal, since Stitch is a creation of science rather than magic— but you know who is magic?
With the Warrior Mage Staff, Rocket acquired a magic staff that allowed him to summon a gigantic goat demon… as one does. This hellspawn proceeded to set the entire arena ablaze, and even incapacitated Iron Man with its scorching flames.
While working together with Hawkeye, Rocket got access to Antimatter charges powerful enough to blow a hole through a Kree Star Cruiser. While working together with Hawkeye, Rocket cobbled together arrows for him, one of which was carrying an antimatter charge powerful enough to blow a hole through a Kree Star Cruiser.
Anti-matter when it comes in contact with Normal Matter, destroys both of them, effectively canceling each other out and erasing them.
Rocket Raccoon also stole a canister of Pym Particles from Hawkeye, which was the same Pym Particles that gave Hawkeye strength comparable to Hercules himself.
He also has a screwdriver. It is a screwdriver.
Counters:
Rocket is in a pretty good position here, having so many more weapons than Stitch. Stitch’s abilities do have a large area of effect, and his electrical abilities are a pretty effective counter to a lot of Rocket’s gear if Rocket does not have EMP resistance. Stitch’s freeze ray, given the benefit of the doubt, could neutralize a good portion of Rocket’s gear set.
That being said, Rocket Racoon has so many more ways to counter Stitch. His AoE is far greater, and with his teleporter, he is the only one with the means to escape the explosion radius of any AoE attacks.
From there, Rocket also has ways to bypass Stitch’s durability. Most of his weapons are already powerful enough to one-shot Stitch, and his Antimatter Charges can most likely bypass Stitch’s durability.
With his mechs, Rocket can close the strength gap between him and Stitch. His Pym Particles would completely close the strength gap — allowing him to reach similar strength levels to Hercules.
Tertiary factors :
When it comes to experience, Rocket certainly has more experience given his plethora of adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy — including battles against Marvel’s heaviest hitters such as: Thanos, Ego, Dormammu, Galactus and the Phoenix Force.
Stitch is not too far behind with his large attribute of accomplishments. He captured and rehabilitated all of his cousins – 624 of them – each of them having a wide-array of abilities from sound attacks and elemental control to transmutation. 3 of which – 627, Leroy & Dark End – were all designed to be superior to him. He has his own remarkable list of accomplishments to compete against Rocket.
For skill, it is the inverse. Stitch is absurdly skilled when he wants to be. He has outplayed trained soldiers from Feudal Japan, fought against all the Experiments at least once, and is in his own words “a millionth black belt”. He has even defeated Kixx, programmed to be the best fighter in the galaxy.
Rocket Raccoon is not too far behind, given his performances against expert Hunters such as the Kraven. Rocket himself has been trained by space knights, and is a veteran of 4 galactic wars, and is the fastest shooter in 6 systems. He is one of the smartest people in the Marvel Universe, and expert in almost all known weaponry, as well as being a superb tactician.
Rocket Raccoon, being raccoon raccoon-like animal, is a renowned thief. He is even able to steal items from seasoned fighters and Hunters as well — such as Kraven the Hunter and Hawkeye.
Intelligence is actually pretty interesting.
Stitch, contrary to his clueless behaviour, is an extremely intelligent and capable genius. He is an expert on molecular genetics, builds functioning aircrafts from car parts, solve complex math problems with his tongue, and can think faster than a supercomputer.
Stitch is in no way stupid, but Rocket is just better. The Gremlin is a supergenius, and is an expert on just about anything, which even his most basic equipment giving the brilliant Tony Stark a run for his money.
He has patched into 5 different Galactic Empires’ security networks, knows of ancient languages, and hot wired open a door whilst getting chased. He has even made a flamethrower from a toilet within a few seconds.
Rocket Raccoon is an incredible tactician. He is regarded as one of the best – if not the best – tacticians of all time by both the Time Traveling Cable and the equally incredible tactician Starlord. He is also referred to as the galaxy's foremost tactician.
He proves this on a daily basis, with notable achievements such as forming a plan to defeat Dormammu when he was possessing Ego the Living Planet.
( Both of these individuals are easily Thanos-level )
Stitch is slightly more skilled, whilst Rocket is more experienced — but no mistaking it, Rocket is certainly more intelligent.
Weaknesses:
Both Rocket Raccoon & Stitch are pretty careless, and end up in situations they reasonably should not be in. Stitch himself is cocky and has a myopic mindset in spite of his genius intellect — which can result in him getting run over by a semi-truck.
In a similar manner, Rocket Raccoon ,in spite of his unrivaled intellect, often comes up with dangerous plans — presumably since he enjoys doing crazy things. He goes in with his guns blazing and asks questions later, which leads to him losing fights he otherwise should have easily won.
Stitch’s body is incredibly dense, which means he has a major weakness to water. He sinks in water due to his natural body density being far greater than that of water. He won’t drown — he can breathe in space — but he would not be able to escape if he were to fall in a deep water body.
( wait then how does he surf? )
Rocket’s weapons vary in power largely, and not all of them are built equal. His guns ( or at least his traditional guns ) do malfunction under extremely cold temperatures.
FAQs:
MFTL Spiderman?
( He has made it into literally every blog this year. He needs to be detained. )
A few interesting points have been brought up for Spiderman since I last covered Miles back last July, notably the arrival of a few massively faster than light ( MFTL ) feats. Let’s run through them.
Supaidaman's mech, the “Leopardan”, crossed interstellar ranges all the way from “M77 nebulae of the 17th Milky Way ''. Equating this to Messier M77, and assuming the maximum time frame of 400 years — this yields 117,500 times the speed of light.
( Takuya's predecessor didn't age significantly from the travel from Planet Spider to Earth, so a timeframe of 400 years is an overestimation, and the Leopardon should in fact be faster. )
During Knull’s invasion of earth, we see him attack with Symbiote dragons. Each dragon flew from Klytar to earth in 2 weeks, with Klyntar being 60,000 light years from earth. This yields about 1,600,000 times light speed.
These Symbiote Dragons — being Symbiotes — should be comparable to the many other symbiotes Spider-man has fought in the past such as Venom and Carnage. Peter, Miles, and Gwen all have been shown to be physically on par with these dragons, while other street tiers like Captain America were quickly overwhelmed; these creatures are quite clearly Spider-man level.
In spite of these 2 MFTL feats, the idea of MFTL Spider-men is still quite outlandish. However, it isn’t entirely unbiased in logical reasoning. Allow me to present my case.
Spider-men don’t have their own tier for speed — only either massively upscaling from Street Tiers or massively downscaling from Herald Tiers.
Spider-men, even on a casual day, on numerous occasions have proven vastly stronger than the rest of their peers — even Super Soldiers. For instance, both Spiderman and Agent Venom managed to defeat Captain America with relative ease. He has known out X-men such as Wolverine in a single hit, who is notorious for being able to scrape with the Hulk.
Daredevil, even when powered up with an amp from Fist Magic, could humiliate Super Soldiers like the US Agent. Yet, he was still inferior to a Spiderman who was holding back, as Peter wanted to talk things out with Matt. Matt had to use the element of surprise, cheap shots, and Peter’s compassion and naivety against him, where he almost broke his fingers attempting a nerve strike on Spider-man. Even then, Spider-man came out of the confrontation relatively unscathed while Daredevil came out worse-for-ware.
When it comes to Street Tier, the gap only widens. Solid Street Tiers, including Daredevil and Moon Knight, have been entirely frozen compared to Spiderman. Narratively, Spidey tiers are massively faster than street tiers who are FTL.
If more illustration is needed, the Punisher could not even injure Spiderman — in the sense that he is literally too weak to hurt him, and only bloodied his finger trying. That's the level of difference we are talking about.
On the opposite end, whilst weaker, Spider-men have shown that they are able to contend with Herald Tier characters on a consistent basis, such as having a ridiculously good track record of defeating Ironman on numerous occasions.
( This supports the notion that Rocket is comparable to an earlier Iron Man in terms of reaction speed, before his more Herald Level suits such as the Endosym or Bleeding Edge. )
This level of power has been consistent throughout Peter’s career; his first mission to prove himself an avenger was to take down the Hulk, and as recently as 2022, fought against the Avengers.
From a tiering perspective;
Street Tiers ( A few times light speed )
< Spider-man Tiers ( Millions to Billions of times light speed )
< Herald Tiers ( Quadrillions of times light speed to Immeasurable )
This is potentially supported by other feats from those among the same tier, such as Mr Fantastic managed to block rays to light from the Ultimate Nullifier.
( Peter is stated faster than Mr Fantastic on innumerable occasions. )
This would be supportive of the Kraven VS Rocket Raccoon fight. It makes more sense that Rocket Raccoon is only slightly outmaneuvering Kraven when they're both in the same ballpark of a few times faster than light.
It is still rather questionable, admittedly. Narratively, Marvel alternates Spiderman's strength from Low Heavy Hitter to High Street Tier, which leads him in the middle of dancing around the Avengers, to getting caught by a bullet. He is in the middle of a really large range, and that can mean really anything.
Rocket Raccoon oddly enough has the same issues. On one hand, he is supposed to be a genetically engineered raccoon-like creature that is not significantly stronger than a human. Yet at the same time, he is meant to be able to consistently maintain pace with the cosmic threats like Thanos and Ego on a weekly basis. It is really a coin flip between the 2 scenarios.
That being said, I think it is valid to grant Rocket Raccoon at minimum the lower ends of these speeds. His 6000 times light speed feat was done with his own technology, and his scaling to Sam Alexander’s Nova seems reasonably clear cut. His scaling to Ironman’s technology is clear-cut; both of their technology operate down to the picosecond, and this is Ironman’s relatively causal equipment, being his older Deep Space Suit.
Cosmology:
Whilst not super important, Jumba does state that they were “all alone in the infinite universe.”, which could possibly imply an infinite sized universe for Lilo & Stitch. However in context, Jumba was exaggerating his loneliness for him and Stitch being the only experiments alive ( that they knew of at the time ), so it is not really applicable.
( Meanwhile, the Marvel Universe is quite explicitly infinite at the lowest. )

Honestly, I came into this fight expecting Rocket Raccoon to win easily. With his association with the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers — with all the cosmic level threats he deals with on a daily basis — I expected him to simply outclass here. I'm glad to say I was wrong; The Lilo & Stitch TV Show just goes crazy ngl.
This battle is complicated, yet it is oddly similar to Strange VS Fate. I was not wrong about Rocket Raccoon having a lot more firepower, but he is a glass cannon. With Stitch's absurd raw physical strength being so much greater than Rocket’s own strength, both combatants are able to defeat each other in a single attack. They have a multitude of minor advantages over one another: Stitch is more skilled in hand-to-hand and more level-headed, while Rocket is smarter and has more experience in battle.
Ultimately, it comes down to 2 key factors:
Who can neutralize each other's win conditions; and
Who can hit each other first.
Stitch certainly has his own plethora of weaponry that can affect Rocket Raccoon. His sonic screams, fire generation and wind vortexes have a high area of effect ( AoE ) — which can limit Rocket's mobility and open him to a hit. His Freeze Gun can cause some of Rocket's weaponry to malfunction.
Lightning in a can is Stitch's Ace, being able to act as an EMP and short-circuit Rocket's gear, in which a lot of them have shown little resistance to EMPs.
That being said, Rocket does have better counters. He has so much AoE it isn't even funny, with some of his AoE — such as the Nullifier Bomb — being able to output more energy than Captain Marvel. He also has more ways to escape AoE, with multiple forms of flight via jetpacks and his ships like the Milano, or with his teleporter. He even has his own EMP.
He also has ways of physically augmenting himself to match Stitch's physical strength. Via mechs like the Rampart Battle Suit or Life – Support Mech, he can briefly tangle with characters on Stitch’s level of strength. With the Pym Particles, Rocket can supposedly reach similar strength levels to Hercules, being more than enough to match Stitch. He too has ways to negate durability, such as his anti-matter bombs.
Ultimately, the most influential factor in a quick draw is speed. Both are routine bullet timers, with consistent reactions against lightning and light. For a middle end, Rocket can react about 4 times faster than Stitch with both reaching thousands of times faster than light; 1500c for Ace traveling to Earth in a day and 6003c for Otta reacting in a picosecond. For a high end, Stitch can reach 580,000c via scaling to the Supernova warhead, which is actually about 95 times faster than Rocket’s reaction speed, and 5 times faster than Supaidaman's Leopardon.
However, when it comes to the higher ends, Rocket Raccoon is much faster. Be it scaling to Symbiote Dragons that move at 1.6 Million times light speed or keeping pace with characters like Nova that has mover at 29 Million times light speed — not to mention Ironman's casual technology already operating at 1.3 Trillion times light speed — Rocket is faster than Stitch by 3 to 1.36 Billion times.
These are the relatively slower end of speed feats performed by even the weakest Herald characters. The average Herald typically scales to somewhere in the Quadrillion to Quintillions of times the speed of light even with conservative estimates. Valkyrie, in which heroes such as Angela and hence Rocket is comparable to, is able to fly around the 10 realms at 144 Duodecillion Times the speed of light.
Even being conservative, Rocket is still about 50 times faster than Stitch and — with his more powerful and versatile gearset — he should be able to get a clean shot when he needs to more times than not.
Stitch’s surprising skill, varied versatility and insurmountable physical strength would certainly buy him a good minority of the wins — especially if he gets in close — but Rocket Raccoon's superior speed, unrivaled firepower, and his unreasonable amount of guns makes him the better experiment.
