Phil Eggtree ( Riddle School ) VS Max ( Camp Camp )

Happy birthday Technoblade!

It's his birthday , though I don't really have any plans for him , I already did my personal favourite fight for him, at least for now. Still , Happy Birthday

Camp Camp's birthday is in 10 days so....

Happy 6th Birthday Camp Camp!

Oh wow , June is an extremely packed month. 

Kindergarten celebrates it's 5th Birthday on the 16th this month as well! I'm still working on the logistics of characters, but I promise that will be a series I will 100% cover eventually.  

Riddle school also celebrated its 16th Birthday last month as well. 

So yeah , quite a lot.

This isn't my mid-month project , that would be next month , but for now a match up that I really love. 

Sarcastic , Intelligent and witty children with a sense of humour who star as the protagonist of their respective shows (Riddle School and Camp Camp) . Often appearing bored, wearing a plain colour hoodie over a T-shirt , they originally started with the goal of escaping a place ( Elementary Riddle School and Camp Campbell ) but later ending up having to fix problems that they made themselves ( Phil having to deal with Aliens after they witness him escaping from school and Max having to fix multiple problems he caused on several occasions ) Both are introverted thinkers and tend to stick to their small friend group ( Smiley , Phred and Zach , Neil and Nikki ) , consisting of a constantly positive female ( Smiley and Nikki ) and a sympathiser ( Phred and Neil ). They both have dealt with a cult hierarchy ( Viz , Diz and Quiz and Daniel ). At the end , at their weakest moment , they prove to have a heart, even hugging those important to him ( Smiley and David ).

Phil Eggtree VS Max 

A little project from mine I only really got into recently. Like Luca , for some reason no one has really done too much power scaling into Riddle School. So I'm having to base myself off kind of nothing here, so this will be fun to research I'll say that much. 

Rules: 

No outside assistance as per usual ( So no Riddle School Gang , Camp Camp trio , Wiz , Diz and Quiz, David , Gwen , etc. ) 

They'll be given all their gear. From Buckets of coffee to knives, etc etc) 

And with the basic rules set , I think it's time to get into the fight , starting with....

Strength ,Power and Durability :

Phil is interesting because there isn't a lot of research going to Riddle School . So Let us start with him. Scaling to Chubb Munch should put Phil Eggtree at Wall level , since Chubb Munch literally did break through a wall ( Riddle School 3 )

He has also survived a escape pod crash from space. ( Riddle Transfer 2). Since the pod did have a slow landing and no damage occured to the pod , I think I'm safe at wall level.

How about Max? Well he has thrown space kid out of a window , several meters into a maze field (S2E13 : Night of the living ill ) and assisted in resisting the pull of an artificial black hole (S4E3:Attack of the Nurfs). Whilst it is unlikely the artificial black hole is as powerful as a normal black hole , it is worth noting that Neil made it. The same person who created a self developing Articfical intelligence on accident ( S2E2 : Anti-Social Network), so it is likely to be strong.

However, if you're looking for stronger feats of strength , you'll need to go for scaling. 

He should scale to Nikki and David, since both he and Nikki has injuried him consistently, such as Nikki knocking over David with a throw of a pin. 

( S1E1 : Escape from Camp Campbell), Max stunning Daniel (Who scales roughly to David) with a single hit of his guitar (S3E13: Arrival of the torso takers) and Max straight up slapping David. (S1E9: David gets hard ).

David being able to tank things like:

Getting stabbed in both wrists and recovering in a single day.(S1E9: David gets hard )

•Getting hit by a bus twice in a single day within 5 minutes of each other and walking it off.

(S1E1: Escape from camp campbell)

•Not like he only did this once , he did it again later.

(S2E4: Jermy Fartz )

•And he has fallen down large water falls and large mountains (S4E12: The Forest )

He should also scale to Nikki surviving a jump off a cliff with no noticable signs of damage (S3E9: The Candy Kingpin ). 

So Max and Phil should be phsyically comparable.

" But shouldn't Phil scale to Zack Kelvin scaling? They were able to retrieve enough energy out of him to freeze a entire planet. (Riddle School 5 )"

Yes. That is massively above anything camp camp has shown , let alone Max. However there are 2 caveats. 

1.) Zack cannot control his powers.

2.) Phil does not scale to Zack. 

The most Zack's powers have done is using the fire on Zack's head as a lighter and to trigger a smoke detector, nothing remotely close to planet level or planet surface level.

So they are around the same level when it comes to strength , however Max is more consistent and has more feats of strength in comparison to Phil.

Speed:

Let's start with Max first this time. 

In terms of travel speed , Max has outran both Daivd and Gwen (S1E1: Escape from Camp Campbell). While Phil has outran FBI agents. (Riddle Transfer 2). He has also outrun Chubb Munch rolling down the stairs ( Riddle School 3)

Max has raced also halfway to spooky island in a seconds, but I don't think water travel will help too much. (S4E6 : Follow the leader). .

For reaction speed , Max has sliced a piece of rope spinning fast enough to launch Space Kid all the way to Spooky island. (S2E10 : Space Camp was a Hoax)

David also being fast enough to block a BB-gun shot from Max ( Camp Camp Hoilday Special : A Camp Camp Christmas or whatever) , however it is more likely that David just knows Max well enough. 

He should also scale to Cameron Campbell dodging and blocking gun fire from the FBI (S1E1 : Escape from Camp Campbell)

Phil has also done similar things , such as dodging gun fire from the FBI as well. (Riddle Transfer 2)

So Phil has slightly faster travel speed but Max has better consistency . 

And they both have roughly equal reaction speeds. 

Intellect:

Now this one is a big one. Who is smarter? Who has shown more wit? 

Well thats...tough to call....

What about street smart ? Who has better wit?

Let's start with Max , he has manipulated practically everyone in his series. He had consistently outwitted the campers ( S4E3 : Who peed the lake ) , inclduing Dolph (S3E9:The candy kingpin ) and Neil (S3E7 : Cameron Campbell the camp campbell camper ). Neil being someone who creates several developing Articfical intelligence from graphing calculators ( S2E2 : Anti-Social Network) and fake Black Holes (S4E3:Attack of the Nurfs), later again it's reconfirmed that Max is better at lying than Neil. ( S2E14 : Culture Day ) and later straight up treats Neil like a lab dog ( S3E7 : Cameron Campbell the camp campbell camper )

He has manipulated David several times (Notably S2E1:Cult Camp), Gwen (S2E8: Gwen gets a Job), Cameron Campbell (S3E7: Cameron Campbell the Camp Campbell Camper) , the 2 managers for Camp Corp (S3E12: Camp Corp) , Daniel ( S3E13 : Arrival of the torso takers), and so on. 

While Phil isn't super adapted to talking to others , he has outwitted Quiz , an alien. ( Riddle Transfer 2). He is better at problem solving , escaping school 3 times ( Riddle School 1-3) , escaping spaceships and FBI bases ( Riddle Transfer 1) and decoding keys to an alien spaceship ( Riddle Transfer 2). While Max has done so before (Notably S2E14: Culture Day ) , he has also struggled a lot before , especially when it comes to other people ( S3E9 : Candy Kingpin ) and (S3E4 : Nikki's last day on Earth ).

Who is more intelligent? I would say they're roughly equal , with advantages so miniscule they only really matter if the other statistics are tied. So We'll come back to this later if we need to. They have surprisingly similar statistics, it's kind of shocking.

Experience and Skill:

This is a relatively easy category to note down. Along their adventures , Phil has been put in threat more times and dealt with more compared to Max . ( FBI and Aliens in Riddle Transfer 1 & 2 against 1 cultist in S2E1 : Cult Camp ). However Phil doesn't have much physical fighting skill , he's more of a problem solver. Max is someone who relies on intellect too , but he isn't afraid to use his skill too. Notably in (S1E4: Camp Cool Kidz) where he defeats Nikki with a stick and cutting a rope in ( S2E10 : Space Camp was a hoax ) 

Gear and Abilities:

They don't really have abilities that them an advantage, they really only have gear. However, other than Phil's slight experience edge , I began this blog thinking that this was going to be his biggest win condition. I mean Phil has gone through games collecting item after item , with the potential to combine items and in the end defeat 3 aliens, safe to say his "big brain" and his versatility would be his strong suit.

And well...that is somewhat true. I made 2 mistakes in that assumption. 

1.) That most of Phil's gear would be useful .

2.) Max couldn't keep up. 

Firstly , whilst Phil has hundreds of items , They aren't too important in a battle scenario. I mean what is a ruler with a peice of gum on the end and an alien coin going to do against Max more powerful weapons. 

Phil most powerful items in his arsenal includes:

A broom,  an elastic band , a ruler with a chewing gum attached to a bookmark ,a broken mug , a phil eggtree decoy , a hot bucket of water , and a broken pencil. 

Whilst versatility will put Max on the defensive, especially with Phil's intellect and resourcefulness , none of these items are especially dangerous in comparison to Max's more traditional weapons. 

Firstly , Max has his own fake decoy of himself , and he has shown quicker in using it. (S1E1 : Escape from Camp Campbell)

In close range , despite all the rulers and pencils Phil has , Max still has a knife. (S2E10 :Space Camp Was a Hoax) He even has Quartermaster's hook if we want to give him that. ( S1E9 : David gets hard. ) 

In mid range, Phil has a broom but Max has better mid-range weapons in a ore and a stick. (S1E5 : Journey To Spooky Island) ( S1E4 : Camp cool kidz )

Phil does have a hot water bucket , but Max has matches , which is more versatile and he has shown better at using it , burning down 10+ camps in a day.  ( S3E12 : Camp Corp)

Long range , Phil has a elastic band , Max has a BB-gun ( Camp Camp Hoilday Special : A Camp Camp Christmas or whatever) and a crossbow. (S3E13: Arrival of the torso takers) 

Phil's intellect and versatility is not enough to overcome Max's shear power of his weapons , especially when Max is too intelligent and versatile in his own right.

Overall:

Who is winning? 

Despite this being one of the closest match ups I have done so far , this might be one of the simplest ones. Since so many of their statistics are equal, there are only a few things to pay attention to.

Both are wall level ,can somewhat dodge gun fire, and have roughly equivalent intellect. 

Max has more potent gear but Phil is more versatile. 

Max is more skilled but Phil is more experienced. 

So...who comes out on top? 

Well in a normal situation,  they are roughly equivalent.

But in a fight...Skill is more important than Experience.

I think that barely gives Max the win over Phil. Max is just a better fighter , and there isn't much Phil can do to counter that that Max cannot counter himself. 

Winner : Max ( Camp Camp )

That was....surprisingly fun.

I had forgotten how much I really loved both series and it has been a blast returning to them. Riddle School I think was the first game that made me cry and I think that was when I started to grow up a little and enjoy more complex games, so I only have Riddle School to thank for that. 

I'm more than likely going to bring back Camp Camp again , I haven't even used David or...the Quartermaster yet , and I have plans for those. 

So...It's time for the big mid year project. I'm not spoiling anything but...

You're muff-In for a treat because this is one MCC you shouldn't sleep on ! I've been Dreaming of this one for a while , so Tech-no backing out now. This will be a match up Four the ages.
