Technoblade VS Deadpool

The 17th January is here , Happy Birthday Skeppy! Also Happy Birthday Callahan ! Callahan's birthday is actually on the 19th but I don't have any good match-ups for him or themed around him yet so I'm releasing this blog on the 17th instead. Sorry Callahan , I have plans for next year anyways.

So today is Skeppy's birthday , and to mark his birthday , today I plan to use a certain minecraft player that he is close to. A certain player who also hit 10 million in the last stretch of 2021 and had a song made about them by CG5 in the last stretch of the preceeding year.

And I have a match for him I'm pretty excited for....

2 Deadly sword wielders dressed in red suits , who both despite being a comedic relief who can break the forth wall , are extremely skilled and even had several bounties placed on them. Both have alternative identities outside of their real names ( Technoblade , Deadpool and Dave , Wade respectively ) and both have masks (Technoblade's pig mask and deadpool's mask) and inhuman faces( Techno's Hog face and Deadpools deformed face ) . They both have cancer , they both have asked "where is the library" in spanish and they have been referred to as unkillable ( Technoblade never dies and the Unkillable Deadpool ). They are also on several teams ( The syndicate and the X-men respectively), Technoblade's clothes have been said to be "not always red" while Deadpool wears red clothes so the blood he bleeds is less visible.

Technoblade VS Deadpool. 

A minecraft character vs a marvel character , I haven't done anything quite like this before so I'm pretty excited.

Let's get started:

So here we're comparing a minecraft character against a marvel character in terms of statistics. A actually very tough comparison compared to the other universes we've used , especially with how minecraft physics work , for example a cactus can distergrate netherite while Lava can not. So like all the other characters I have previously used , I will be scaling them on their higher end feats of base form( Unless specifically mentioned) that are not outliers. 

For Example Spiderman , I used the standard 616 version. 

I didnt use comsic Captain Universe Spiderman , a spiderman tough enough to one punch grey hulk into orbit causually.

And I didn't use the Human Spider, an identity used by spiderman in his origins to fight wrestlers for money. 

I used Spiderman that is able to hold off the hulk temporarily since that is in a reasonable ball-park of power for Peter , but don't use feats like him knocking out Thanos with one swing. 

Similarly for Deadpool , he'll be the 616 version . 

No lady deadpool , No Earth-12101 Deadpool , No FOX Deadpool or Dogpool . Just standard 616 Deadpool. 

For Technoblade , He will be given his Dream Smp gear set , specifically the one he used for the Doomsday war. He won't be given his hypixel set , but similarly he won't be given his Earth Smp set. A middle ground , a fair balance. He will also be given a totem of undying , the one he used at his execution . We will have to be doing calculations for them as well due to an average minecrafters having different stats than an average marvel human. 

That being said , Let's truly started. 

Strength: 

 Let's start with Deadpool since he is actually the easier of the two to compare. He's defeated wolverine, fairly consistently honestly with a 3-1 lead. He's head back a helicopter , caught Captain America's sheild in the middle of his throw and most impressively of all , injuried Venom and Carnage and fought Spiderman and injured Kingpin.

This would roughly put Wade at anywhere from small building level to large building level , depending on the scaling to Spiderman and his villians. His injuring of venom and carnage is kind of here and there and he only truly beat spiderman in an alternative universe in the "Deadpool kills the marvel universe" universe (Which I said doesn't count as a main universe feat) . In the 616 universe, He's been one shot by Peter before so I am more comfortable putting him roughly at Building level. He has beaten Wolverine, but Peter has one shot wolverine by knocking him out when he wasn't holding back. It's safe to say that he isn't on the same tier of strength when it comes to Peter Parker. 

For Technoblade , we're gonna have to do some math. A block of tnt is 1 million square centres and tnt has a density of 1.65 g/cm³.

This would roughly mean that a Block of tnt exploding would equal to 1.65 tonnes of tnt.

1.65 tonnes of tnt would equal to 65 hit points of damage. Technoblade's axe with sharpness 5 and with a critical hit should do around 19.5 hit points of damage which should equal to 0.495 tonnes of tnt. However with strength 2 , his damage jumps all the way up with to 50.7 hit points or 1.287 tonnes of tnt.

 0.495 tonnes of tnt to 1.287 tonnes of tnt would roughly be from low to high building level . 

For strength , they would be roughly equal , with both at building level . It's important to note that striking strength is different from lifting strength. In terms of lifting strength , a minecrafter can lift the entire planets without losing any speed while Deadpool could not lift a country or something. But A minecrafter doesn't hit with that amount of power , as of calculated above. So that's the easy part , they're roughly the same in strength. 

Speaking of speed...

Speed:

Deadpool is fast enough to block bullets , react to attacks from wolverine and fast enough to Steve's sheild throw. He's fast enough to battle shang chi, iron fist and taskmaster and capable of dodging Spiderman's webs and punches. Peter being able to grab bullets with his webs and his body is fast enough to consistently tag carnage and venom

(Who should have a spidersense equal or maybe even better than Peter's. ). 

For Technoblade , he has dodged arrows from crossbows and bows. He scales in almost every regard to be Dream's equal. Dream was fast enough to craft in less than 2 seconds in the span of a fall less than 5 seconds. Dream also has consistently done mlg waters cluthes , boat cluthes , even horse cluthes. 

Their travel speed really isn't important so overall Deadpool has a faster reaction speed than Technoblade. This is probably because the reaction speed of minecraft players are roughly the same as the reaction speed of a normal human, while Deadpool is a bullet-timer. Yeah I think Deadpool is faster. 

Durability:

It's starting to get fun. Durability / Healing Factors are deadpool's specialty so let's start with him.

He's took a punch from hulk that sent him through a building , took a direct hit from mjolnir , hits and stabs from wolverine, took a beating from black panther , a beating from Spiderman, and had several of his body parts severed on a very consistent basis. Deadpool's shear durability and healing factor is probably the most consistent part of his feats. 

Technoblade we are going to have to bring back mathematics.

 A minecraft player can take at most 23 hit points without dying or triggering a totem of undying. Full Netherite set should give an 80% damage reduction and Protection 4 should give around 88% damage reduction, which should bring the macimum amount of damage sustainable without triggering death or revive is 78 hit points. Which should put his durability at almost 2 tons or the higher end of building level. 

The weird thing is that Technoblade actually has a higher durability than deadpool , but deadpool has can heal back from the damage. Technoblade could heal with natural healing , god apples , healing potions of regeneration and instant healing but deadpool could heal from his head being cut off. Technoblade could take hits from dream , as of building level like Techno level , without getting knocked out while Deadpool has been knocked out by Hawkeye with a knife. 

Stamina:

A quick section that I didn't need to include previously as it wasn't important but for this one I'm going to note real quick. 

Deadpool has really high stamina and can heal back and a minecraft player doesn't need to sleep, so for stamina they're around equal.

Skill and Experience:

Deadpool is very inconsistent here. At his best he has defeated Taskmaster , he has a 3-1 track record against wolverine , even fought Captain America and fought Spiderman. 

However at his worst , he's been instantly taken out by hawkeye. He's been schooled by spiderman and destroyed by black panther and domeniated in his fight against wolverine. He's also older due to his immortality supplied by Thanos.

Technoblade on the other hand is far more consistent. He's on equal footing with Dream and Fruitberries. He's consistently outskilled Skeppy , Skeppy being on the same tier as Sapnap and Badboyhalo in terms of skill. Dream said that he's confident in defeating or at least stalling any of the 2 hunters , including the likes of Georgenotfound , Badboyhalo , Sapnap , Antfrost and Awesamdude. Dream has also 6-3 Captain Sparklez in pvp when he only had a diamond axe and a sheild while Captain Sparklez had everything he had plus full diamond gear. And probably most impressively, he got a 1818 win streak on bed wars ( Including hackers and everything) and only lost it because he was not having fun.

Based on everything , in terms of skill , at their best they are around the same, being able to keep up with the best of the best. However due to Deadpool being more of a comedic relief and relying on his healing factor, he is far less consistent than Technoblade. Yes he's more experienced but not by a staggering amount. It especially doesn't matter when it comes to....

Intelligence:

There's no beating around the bush here , Technoblade is smarter , both in intellectual and mental intellect. In fact Deadpool knows he is stupid and often pushes it to his advantage , which was how he was able to defeat Taskmaster and Captain America. 

However Technoblade is far superior here. He has knowledge of war techniques from "Sun Tzu : The Art of war" and general history which allowed him to outsmart Dream (By hiding behind a pillar) and Squid Kid. 

The potato war is a phenomenal display of Technoblade's intellect. It's actually best to recommend the 3 videos as the amount of outsmarting Technoblade did is actually unrealistic to note them all down. 

Some examples are:

-Finding out Squidkid's sleep schedule and using it to his advantage.

-Limiting Squidkid's school down to 3 colleges and using that information to get ahead during exam session. 

-Manipulating Squidkid into thinking he had the advantage ( Tricking him jnto thinking he was using the level 100 rabbit pet , tricking him into thinking his farm was more efficient , tricking him into thinking he had forgot the potato war and moved on onto all the different smp things , etc etc.)

....and so on. I think I've been this horse dead , next and final category...

Gear and Abilities:

Deadpool has more gear due to having a magical satchel giving him assess to many ammunitions and weapons, though he typically tends to stick with guns, knives , swords , the alike. 

Technoblade has everything in his gear and if he requires, everything in his enderchest. 

Long range: 

Deadpool definitely has far more ammunition , due to technically having infinite ammounts of ammunition , but are his guns more powerful than Technoblade's crossbow and trident? More importantly, how much damage will it do?

The most impressive thing Deadpool's guns have done is kill an alternate version of Spiderman who was just standing still for some reason. Else than that they don't seam to be more powerful than normal versions of the guns. None of them are building level , maybe a few that he rarely uses.

Meanwhile Technoblade's trident , should scale to his axe and sword , which would make it also around building level. Although Technoblade can use his trident far more effectively. 

More scary is Technoblade's crossbows, due to the enchantment "peircing" , it can actually pierce through multiple entities at once , including other minecraft characters with similar gear to Technoblade ( Building level). No doubt they can peirce through , perhaps even straight , especially if Punisher can shoot him straight through the head and hawkeye's own arrows can pierce wade wilson. Additionally Technoblade's arrows can either inflict harming (Which does more damage) or weakness ( Weakens the enemies attacks). 

Deadpool has grenades that can injure wolverine , but thats nothing compared to Techno's most powerful ranged weapon , his firework rockets. Each firework is capable of doing 19 hit points of damage with a 0.5 second recharge time , and they have proven to decimate hordes of players. Combine this with peirce , there is not much saying this would not just explode Deadpool out from the inside. 

Close range:

For weapons they are roughly the same , maybe Technoblade's weapons are stronger but they have already been factored into the "Strength" category. So let's factor other melee weapons. Technoblade's axe is strong enough to disable sheilds , but Deadpool typically doesn't use a sheild. Instead Technoblade has his trident , and if there is a water body nearby or especially if there's rain ,these could give Technoblade the battlefield control as he flies around in the air , if for ranged combat or healing. Meanwhile Deadpool has his carbonadium sword , which stops healing factors , but would it work on Technoblade?....

Other abilities:

Technoblade can teleport with enderpearls, but Deadpool can actually teleport himself , so he can counter that. 

But Technoblade has magic , his armour has thorns so when Deadpool attacks him , he would take damage too. 

Slowing falling , which allows him to fall slower, Speed, which allows him him to move faster , Invisibility , which would allow him to turn invisible, Turtle master , make him slower but more durable , regeneration , which would allow him to heal , and most importantly..

Golden Apples and God apples , giving him regeneration , absorption , resistance and fire resistance.

Would Deadpool's carbonadium sword work against Technoblade's healing? I'm not too sure , Technoblade's healing is magical in nature and I'm unsure if deadpool's sword could affect non-biological healing. Even if it could , it still has to get through the absorption and resistance. 

Techno can also repair his armour with enchantment potions and summon withers (which is in his kit) , these should be capable of scaling to the player , but they also could attack back Technoblade.

CONCLUSION:

So who wins? Well the fight overall is quite close, maybe even the closest I've done so far , and deadpool has advantages of his own. 

Overall , at their best , they are roughly equal when it comes to strength, stamina, skill and experience. 

Deadpool is faster and has a better healing factor.

Techno however is more durable, more intelligent, has better gear and is more consistent. 

Another thing I need to mention that i think pushes the victory in Technoblade's favour is , due to the nature of minecraft , he cannot be knocked out. Yes they can fall asleep, yes they can be killed , but they cannot be knocked out. Deadpool can be knocked out , it's how people like Spiderman can punch him out , Captain America and even Hawkeye has defeated him with a single stab with a knife.

Deadpool is also super inconsistent. At times he can get punched through a building by the Hulk , sometimes he gets one hit by spiderman. He , as of the nature of a comedic relief , is very inconsistent and that isn't going to go well with the very consistent, literally in-built stats of a minecraft character , let alone on as intelligent and skilled as the blade. 

Technoblade just has more and surprisingly....

Winner: Technoblade

...as a marvel character , I kind of expected deadpool to win coming into this. However Technoblade just has enough to win more often than not, which is no loss in my books.

I'm pretty proud with this one , so far every battle has something special going on with it , and this one I think it is the calculations and the matchup between game characters and comic book characters , something different. Also Skeppy/ Callahan's birthday celebration. 

I considered sending this blog on the 18th , in between both of birthday's but this fight is closer to the Skeppy side of the tree rather than his side of the tree. I have something in mind for callahan. Maybe for christmas? Maybe next year? We'll see. 

For the next one I hope to go a bit more cosmic in scale if you catch what I'm saying, maybe I might change my mind , who knows?
